✻ Design Object with Cork Wood and Ceramic Houses 

A design object that will add a different, chic and eco touch to your home decoration. It is made by cork wood and handmade ceramic houses. These little houses are beautifully handcrafted with slab pottery technique using stoneware clay. Their creation's process inlcudes cutting, drying and keeping into 980 degrees Celsius furnace. Melted coloured clay is then used, the traditional way, to add colour to each ceramic artifact, which is then completed with vintage style patina coating. Inspiration for these little ceramic houses has been a fresco inscription at Fazil Bey's house on Crete island during the Ottoman Period (end 18th century). Copy of the wall painting belongs to the Historical Museum of Crete collection.
