✻Aphrodite Statue

Aphrodite of Milos, better known as the Venus de Milo, is an ancient Greek statue and one of the most famous works of ancient Greek sculpture. Created sometime between 130 and 100 BC, the statue is believed to depict Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty (Venus to the Romans). The sculpture is "widely renowned" for the mystery of her missing arms. There is a filled hole below her right breast that originally contained a "metal tenon" that would have supported the separately carved right arm.

In this gift box you find a recreation of this famous work of art. Its height is 27cm and it is hand painted blue. A perfect addition to your boudoir table or any other space that needs a modern feminine touch.

The classic Greek “lucky eye” symbol charm aims to ward off the effects of the Matiasma. Blue charms shaped like eyes worn on a necklace or a bracelet “reflect” the evil. The lucky eye is the most commonly talked about ancient tradition in the Greek Isles. Celebrate Greek culture with a Greek lucky eye bracelet in the blue and white colours of the Greek flag.
