Silkworm cocoons are a centuries old secret passed down among Geisha trainers to achieve younger, healthier skin. These cocoons contain sericin protein that is responsible for cell proliferation and skin’s radiance, elasticity and firmness. Sericin acts as a glue that joins collagen fibers giving a firmer look to the skin making these cocoon finger gloves ideal for use as facial exfoliation, dealing with acne and as an anti-oxidant, anti-aging treatment. Our cocoons are produced in the area of Soufli, northern Greece, where the silk industry flourishes since the 19th century. Every Silk Spa set contains 4 silkworm cocoons (finger gloves) in a glass jar.
