✻ Minoan Dance Clay Model

The great Minoan Civilization that developed in Crete in the 3rd and 2nd millennium BC and sealed its time, handed over to humanity its huge and admirable creation, the Minoan Art 2800-1100 BC. Crete's beautiful and complex landscape fueled the emotion and expressive power of the artists while the unknown and the supernatural sparked their imagination. A common feature of Minoan Art is that the Minoan creator is always possessed by a religious disposition, as the Minoan religion is directly connected to the nature Minoans knew and worshipped. The woman in the middle plays the lyre and the three around her dance. This clay model was found during the excavations in Palekastro, Sitia. It dates back to 1350-1100 BC and is exhibited in a special showcase at the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. Our gift box includes the 4 figurines in separate pouches.

✻ Lucky Eye Bracelet

Blue charms shaped like eyes worn on a necklace or a bracelet “reflect” the evil. The lucky eye is the most commonly talked about ancient tradition in the Greek Isles. Celebrate life with a Greek lucky eye bracelet!
