The Faith and Tradition Gift Box contains:

✻ Handmade Ceramic Censer

A unique ceramic creation, inspired by ancient traditional Greek art and knowledge. Made with simple tools and four fundamental elements: earth, water, air, fire. It's made with white clay, glazed and baked again in 1000 °C for extra durability. Golden details were added later with paint and wire. This creation is based on simple, clear forms, inspired by the early Christianity period, made with high quality materials. Different mineral oxides and rocks such as copper carbonate, manganese oxides and other components are mixed into the clay, a combination that creates different color variations.

✻ Holy Mary Pennon

A Christian faith pennon with Virgin Mary to help and protect during difficult times. Velvet maroon colour pennon with Virgin Mary and the embroidered words "Υπεραγία Θεοτόκε Σώσον Ημάς" (Greek for "Virgin Mary Save Us"). May Her grace be upon you!

✻ Handmade Vintage Doily Placemat

A unique handmade cotton doily with cut design stiching. Women of Crete open their bottom drawers for us offering unique pieces made with love. “Prika” is the sum of all the decorative but also utility products that Greek women used to collect from childhood until their marriage. Grandmothers were embroidering elaborate doilies to create the most beautiful "prika" for their granddaughters. As this tradition starts to fade Cretan women continue creating unique designs for all of us who still appreciate their art.

✻ Greek Lucky Eye Bracelet

In Greece there is a belief that Matiasma will cause misfortune or injury. Matiasma means “evil eye” in Greek, and is often shortened to mati which means “eye”. The classic Greek “lucky eye” symbol charm aims to ward off the effects of the Matiasma. Blue charms shaped like eyes worn on a necklace or a bracelet “reflect” the evil. The lucky eye is the most commonly talked about ancient tradition in the Greek Isles. Celebrate Greek culture with a Greek lucky eye bracelet in the blue and white colours of the Greek flag.
